She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles B. Miller and Sarah B. Miller; her husband Shelby G. "Jim" Tipton; and her children, Michael Tipton and Yvonda "Bonnie" Tipton.

She is survived by: her children, Herschel Tipton (Sheila), Jim Tipton (Nancy) and Alberta Mullins (Paul); and her grandchildren, Charlie, Michelle, Kim (Rick), Jimmy (Lisa), Ronnie (Amy), Mike (Jenny), David (Kristy) and Dawn (Gary). She is also survived by her 22 great-grandchildren; her 15 great great grandchildren; a great great great grandchild; and many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
