With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Henry Monroe Garrison Jr. of Hamilton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 26, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Monroe Garrison Sr. and Jessica Mae Garrison (Hacker); and his siblings, Hobart, Oscar, Alonzo, James, Theodore, Dewey, John, Ben, Bertha, Leonard, Walter, Beatrice Garrison, Lorene Sizemore (Willie), Corene Wolfe (John), Lois Lee (Enoch), Martha Ealy (Bogart), Robert "Bob" Bowling, Jeanette Moore and Douglas Garrison (Rosemary).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Garrison (McDaniel); his daughters, Cari Polly (Steve Patrick) of Hamilton, OH and Maribeth Scott (Terry) of Richmond; his grandchild Sgt. First Class; his great grandchildren, Brooks, Hayes Johnson, Paisley, Lillian Creekmore and Beckham Raider; and his siblings, Mary Gladys Saylor of London and Randall Lee Garrison (Joyce) of McKee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in his honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, TN.
