He is survived by: his parents, Amy Michelle Gumm and Carl Edward Spencer Jr. Jacob; his brother Tyler Spencer (Hannah); his sibling's children, Lucas and Sage; his girlfriend Jade Price; his grandparents, Gary Gumm and Deborah Spencer; his great-grandparent Bernice Gumm; and his aunts and uncles, Chris Gumm (Becky) and Nicole Vader (Dale).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jacob's name to The National Center for Victims of Crime, 7400 Buchanan Street, PO Box 2770, Hyattsville, MD 20784.
