He was predeceased by: his parents, Elda Jewell and Hubert Jewell; and his siblings, Shirley Gallimore (late Mike), MaryJo Blanchette (late Gary), Virginia Lindsey (Kenny), Jane Jewell-Menke (Al), Kathy Hopwood, Rita Hall and Christine VanHorn (Bob).

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jewell of Darrtown; his children, Flint Jewell (Tracey), Marika McFall (Tanner) and Tyler Jewell; and his grandchildren, Logan Jewell (Alexa), Ava McFall, Leili McFall, Maija McFall, Liam McFall, Saylor Jewell, Rylee Jewell, Campbell Jewell and Foster Jewell. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
