She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter E. Gaebel and Josephine S. Gaebel; her husband Albert L. Friend Sr.; her son Albert L. Friend Jr.; and her siblings, Joan Chiles, Roger and Ronnie Gaebel.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Friend (Terry), Bonnie Baker (Clark) and Mark Friend (Donna); and her sisters, Ruthann Edwards and Karen Brosman. She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
