She was predeceased by: her father Shelley Fulkerson; her husband James Sharrett; and her siblings, Lawrence Fulkerson, Bob Fulkerson, Lola Bell Epley, Jay Fulkerson, Mary Westerman and Howard Fulkerson.

She is survived by: her son Jeffrey Sharrett; and her stepchildren, Peggy Ann Samuels (Otha), Freda Anderson and Donald Sharrett. She is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
