She was predeceased by: her parents, James Leroy Hall and Mary Marie Hall (Burner); her husband Edward Bartels Jr.; her son Steven Curtis; and her siblings, Betty Moelk of Indiana, Nancy Taylor of Alabama and James Hall of Indiana.

She is survived by: her children, Janet White (Tim) of Charleston, Penny Chamberlain of Liberty Twp, Kathy Monroe (Michael) of Hamilton and David Barnes (Charlotte) of St. Matthews; and her brother William Hall of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
