She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Scott and Ruthena Scott (Deweese); her former husband James Pennington; her husband William Kelley; and her sister Judith Scott.

She is survived by: her children, Valerie Lambert (Scott), Brian Pennington (Yvonne) and Cindy Cleveland (Howard); her grandchildren, Stephanie Lambert, Holly Pennington, Andrew Pennington (Karah), Alexander Cleveland and Elizabeth Cleveland; her great grandchild Henry Pennington; and her brother Forrest Scott (Shirley).
