He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis and Donna Jean Heflin (Upland); his son Little John; and his siblings, Charlene Stone, Margaret Kay Allen and Douglas Dean Heflin.
He is survived by: his daughters, Brenda Bellamy of West Union, Mary Pritchett (Michael) of Ripley, Julie Heflin of West Union and Sara Heflin of Aberdeen, Ohio; and his sisters, Lucinda Bryant (Osric) of Lancaster, Carol (Robert Boardman) and Connie Heflin of Brooksville, Kentucky. He is also survived by eight grandchildren – four great grandchildren; twenty-two nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.
