He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Buford Bennett and Ina Cox; his son Nick Bennett; his close friend Janet Shea; and his siblings, Eldridge Jasper, Shirley Pryor, Jack Bennett and Ronnie Bennett.
He is survived by: his sons, Jody Bennett (Theresa) and Andy Bennett (Angie); his grandchildren, Clayton, Oliver, Savannah of Autumn, A. J., Airic, Dakota, Dayna, Delaney and Dawson; and his sister Emilie Suffridge. He is also survived by many family members and friends.
