She was predeceased by: her father Bryce Mobley; and her grandparents, Carnel (Tiny), Eudella Cole, John and Oralee Mobley.

She is survived by: her mother Betty J. Mobley of Hamilton, OH; her daughter Ashley Nicole Jackson (Matthew); her grandchildren, Ella Brooklynn and Cole Bryce Jackson of Union, KY; her children, John Curtis Moody and Megan Mckenzie Moody of Somerset, KY; her sisters, Tammy Johnson (Joe) and Sharon Carley (Benjamin); her niece Samantha Schlabach (Tony); her nephew Danny Carley; her great-niece Harper; her great-nephew Saylor Schlabach; her aunt Norma; her uncle Ron Thomas; her cousins, Jeff Thomas (Amy) and Ronnie Lee Thomas; and her close friend Shari Kelley.

In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to Beechwood Homes, Friends of Beechwood Account, in memory of Karen Moody.

“I am sorry to have just learned of Karen's passing. I was a childhood friend of Karen. We had fun hanging around riding unicyles, rolling skating, and many other fun activities. She was such a wonderful person and friend. One memory I have is when Karen's grandmother took us to church. I am forever grateful for that. May God comfort Karen's family during this difficult time.
