She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Jarka and Lillian Jarka; and her brother Jim Jarka (Pat). She is survived by: her husband Rusty Proffitt; her children, Mike Swanson (Valerie), Jim Swanson, John Swanson (Lisa), Lori Saurber (Paul), Ron Swanson (Jeanette), Carrie Proffitt-Boyle and Gregory Proffitt; her brother Tom Jarka (Joyce); her parents-in-law, Troy Proffitt (Donna), Gracie Goebel and Roy Proffitt; and her grandchildren, James Michael, Christine (Shawn), Joshua (Brittany), Kristyn (Luke), Fred, Devon, Cole, Sara, Katy (Nick), Jessica (Austin), Lilly, Paige (Kam), Chelsea (Jordan), Luke, Brandon, Leo and Arianna. She is also survived by her 10 great-grandchildren.
