He is survived by: his wife Anni Moderbacher; his sons, Marcus Moderbacher (Shirley) and Charles Moderbacher (Michelle); his grandchildren, Eric Moderbacher (Carolyn), Sarah Thomas (Zach), Justin Edwards and Joseph Moderbacher; his great grandchildren, Parker Edwards, Eleanor and Emilia Thomas; and his siblings, Dr. Johannes, Adi Moderbacher and Christiana Gaupmann. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
