She was predeceased by: her father Gordon Benzing; and her husband William Newton. She is survived by: her children, Randy Newton (Lynn) and Sherri Peters (Mark); her grandchildren, Stacy Newton, Brian Newton (Crystal), Chad Peters (Drea) and Zachary Peters; her great grandchildren, Clara, Noah Peters, Nolan and Aden Newton; and her sister Joy Demoret. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
