She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Cole and Anna Mae Cole (Schurfranz). She is survived by: her husband Thomas L. Richter; her children, Karen Ann Bertram (Rodney), John Richter (Kimberly) and Daniel J. Richter; her grandchildren, Abbey Titzer (Chandler Shively), Ana Isadore (Dominic), Rachel Titzer, Sarah Beth Richter, Maria Richter, Jonathan Richter, Gracie Richter, Maggie Bertram and Kolton Bertram; her great grandchildren, Simeon and Ellis; and her brothers, Jim Cole (Shinobu), Ray Cole (Fran) and Bob Cole (Catherine). She is also survived by many extended family members, friends.

She modeled and coached how to give my very best to students. Her influence remained all through my 32 years in the classroom. Every student-teacher I had throughout the years also reaped the benefits of her wisdom. She welcomed me personally and professionally. Dinners at her home helped me overcome homesickness.
