He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harold Gurr and Diana Bowers (Frazee); his wife Lisa; his children, Ty, Savana and Brayden; and his siblings, Bryan Gurr and Ashley Gurr.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 13th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home (4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Ross, OH 45061). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (400 Nilles Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Fairfield Civitan Club (1381 Hunter Rd, Fairfield, OH 45014).
