He was predeceased by: his parents, Belve McQueen and Mary Bell McQueen (Sizemore); his wife Esther McQueen (Nolan); his siblings, Walter McQueen, Kelly McQueen, Oscar McQueen, Isaiah McQueen, Annie Hensley, May Chandler and Eller Sams; his son-in-law Jake Pater; and his pet Jack "Bear".
He is survived by: his daughters, Janet Lawson (Frank), Kimberly Burnett (Bob) and Donna Pater; his siblings, Charlie McQueen, Delora Gugala and Pearl Gibson; and his grandchildren, Christy ASher (Jamie), Brandon Hymer, Casey Oakley Pater, Dylan Pater, Justin Pleiman (Angela), Jackie Burnett and Jason Burnett (Emmy). He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
