It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Carpenter (Hamilton, Ohio), born in Booneville, Kentucky, who passed away on December 5, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Halcomb and Beatrice Halcomb (McPherson); and her brother William J. "Booty" Halcomb. She is survived by: her husband Richard Carpenter; her siblings, Carol S. Bakeman (Halcomb), Hilda Wilson (Halcomb) and Charles Wayne Halcomb; her brother-in-law John Bakeman; her sons, Ronald James Chaney (Robyne), Ken Chaney (Debbie) and James "Buddy" Carpenter; her grandchildren, Brett Chaney (Jennifer), Brooke Clark (Craig), Alexus Carpenter, Dylan Klock (Kristin), Chrissy Chaney, Rebecca Wilson (Robert), Alex, Brennan Clark, Eli, Asher Chaney, Gunner James Carpenter, Oliver and Archer Klock; and her siblings-in-law, Robert Wilson and Dorothy Halcomb.
