She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Hamblin and Alifair Hamblin (Eldridge); her husband Jack Burke; her sons, Danny and Donald Burke; and her grandson Danny Burke Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Ronald Burke (Brenda), Jackie Forman (Daryle) and Douglas Burke (Marti); her siblings, Melvin Hamblin, Donnie Hamblin (Carolyn), Rose Watts and Della Mae Morris (Kennard); and her sister-in-law Betty Burke. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
