He was predeceased by : his parents, Julian Hess and Mary Hess (Gunter). He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Hess; his son Chris Hess (Kim); and his grandchildren, Morgan, Adeleigh and Miles Hess. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
