He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Pater and Josephine Pater (Geier); and his brothers, Michael and Kenneth Pater. He is survived by: his wife Treava Pater (Hoelle); his sons, Scott Pater (Lori), Jeff Pater (Jodi) and Luke Pater (Amy); his grandchildren, Bethany Hawkins (Garrett), Shelby, Gillian, Sam, Malia, Natalie, Corinne and Henry Pater; his great grandchildren, Charlie and Amelia; his brothers, Steve Pater (Dottie) and Frank Pater (Cindy); and his brother-in-law Randy Hoelle (Carol).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Margaret of York Catholic Church (9499 Columbia Rd, Loveland, OH 45140). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
