It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Cox (Hamilton, Ohio), who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Schwegman and Dora Schwegman (Lithman); her husband Howard W Cox; and her siblings, Harold, Omer, Walter, Regina, Lorene and Ruth.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald (Bobbie) and Timothy Cox (Sharon); and her siblings, Ralph, Richard Schwegman, Mary Thomas and Alice Krauth. She is also survived by 25 nieces and nephews, 5 grandchildren, and one great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or St. Jude Research Hospital.
