He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma L. Koedel and Donald M. Koedel, Sr.; his wife Barbara J. Koedel; and his brothers, Eddie Koedel, David Koedel and Donald M. Koedel, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Chuck Farthing, Jim Farthing (Julie), Lori Bishop, Rob Koedel and Brandy Singleton (Justin); and his siblings, Betty Conrad, Luvina Griffith, Tom Koedel and Everett Koedel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
