He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Britt and Lona Britt (Conn); and his brothers, Gerald "Sonny" Britt and Dan Britt. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Brett Britt (Thelma), Mark Britt (Ted Durst) and Melissa Britt; his grandchildren, Angela Overbey (Shane), Elizabeth Saylor (James), Mary Kemp (Brian), Adam Britt (Meghan), Thomas Shuler and Gretchen Shuler; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Matthew, Brittany, Shane, Kylie, Ryley, Joshua, Abigail, Gavin, Olivia, Aubrey and Sydney; his great great grandchild Grayson; and his siblings, Karen Watt and Steve Britt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM and on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Talmage Library and Event Center (2994 Main St, Abilene, KS 67410).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Talmage Historical Society and Museum or the Talmage Library and Event Center.
