He was predeceased by: his parents, William Connaughton and Sharon Connaughton (Meeker). He is survived by: his wife Robin Connaughton; his children, Meghan Nicole Connaughton, Becky Robinson, Kari Eggleston and Matt Jones; his grandchildren, Alexis Caldwell, Dylan Clark, Kaili, Ethan Robinson, Damien, Dakota Moster (Alena), Cheyenne, Cayden Jones, Kai and Seth Eggleston; his sister Beth Royston (Tim); and his friend Sarah Evans. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and many other family and friends.
