Shirley Zachritz Schwertman Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Zachritz Schwertman (Hamilton, Ohio), who passed away on September 15, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.

She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Schwertman; her parents, John Zachritz and Anna Zachritz; and her sister Joan Pappas. She is survived by: her brothers, William Zachritz and Randy Zachritz. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Cincinnati Children's Medical Center.
