He was predeceased by: his father James "Shortey" Whitaker; and his sister Patty Alley. He is survived by: his mother Geraldine Batchelor; his daughter Jessica Klapper; his siblings, James Whitaker (Sandra), Diane Bobinger, Penny Brown (Dave), Regina Merrill and Melinda Royer (Kevin); and his granddaughter Harley Wilcox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, friends and family.
