Thomas J. Shannon Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on April 16, 2022, at the age of 85, Thomas J. Shannon of Hamilton, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Shannon and Cecilia Shannon (Zettler); his brothers, Robert Shannon, Richard Shannon and Eugene Shannon; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Mainous, Jim Fontaine, Frank Fontaine, Frances Shannon, Phyllis Shannon, Peg Shannon and Tess "Tessie" Fontaine.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo (Fontaine); his children, Patty Wren, Thomas Shannon II (Tammy), Carolyn "Missie" Shannon and Douglas Shannon (Laura); his grandchildren, Cecelia Shannon, Thomas Shannon III, Carolyn Sexton (Matt), Nathaniel Wren and Jacob Shannon; his sister Barbara Mainous; his siblings-in-law, Jack Fontaine, Tom Fontaine (Janet) and Carolyn Fontaine; and his extended family, Linda Craft, Sandy Sears and Teresa Garrett. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
