He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Simpson and Eunice Simpson (Ward); his wife Linda Carole Wilson; and his siblings, Kent Ward, Vernon Simpson, Harold Simpson, Vernell Baecker and Violet Drake.
He is survived by: his children, Lori Jo Huff (Earnie) and Kristofer Wayne Simpson (Kristin); his sister Maria June Winkler; his grandchildren, Andrew Julian Huff of Hamilton, Jenna Lynn Huff of Hamilton, Elizabeth Lynn Simpson of Hamilton and Abram James Simpson of Hamilton; and his stepgrandsons, David Huff (Tiera) of Tampa and Derrick Huff (Taylor) of Honolulu, Hawaii. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Webb Noonan Kidd Funeral Home (240 Ross Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Wounded Warrior Project, the American Heart Association, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or First Baptist Church of Hamilton, 1501 Pyramid Hill Blvd., Hamilton, Ohio.
