He was predeceased by: his parents, Sara Stahl and Eugene Stahl; his sons, Jack R. Vance and Jay W. Vance; and his sister June Matievich (Vance).
He is survived by: his wife Diana Vance (Gault); his daughters, Tina Vance and Bambi Senger (Terry); and his niece Betty Ann Jones. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
