He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Ann Derifield Hopper; his parents, Glen Leslie Hopper and Betty Lou Scott Hopper; his brother Scott Hopper; and his nephew Adam Douglas Hopper.
He is survived by: his children, David Hopper (Rebecca), Angie Carpenter (Brandon) and Chris Hopper (Kayla); his brothers, Tony Hopper of Hanging Rock and Doug Hopper of Ironton; his grandchildren, Chayden Renfroe (Autumn), Kaylee Darnell (Cole), Kylie Hopper, Caleb Hopper, Devin Renfroe and Hunter Hopper; and his great grandchild Ledger Renfroe.
