He is survived by: his former wife Wendy Pitts; his daughter Alicia Meek-Pitts of Strasburg; his stepchildren, Shawnna Shipley (Jeremiah) of Kensington, Amanda Shultz (Dusty) of Carrollton and Jonathan Owsley (Ashley) of Salem; and his siblings, Dawn Pitts Hawkins of Minerva, Kevin Pitts (Shirley) of Minerva, Shawn Pitts of Sebring and Eric Pitts (Tab) of Minerva. He is also survived by 8 step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
