He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mawer and Nadene Mawer; his siblings, Laureen, Mary Frances, Jane, Linda and Steven; his son Douglas; his wife Helen; and his grandsons, Scott Anderson and Casey Nordyke.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathleen Frayer (John), Valerie Bower (Dave), Cynthia Schmidt and Janet Anderson (Steve); and his family, Debbie Chesnut, Leigh Richter (Kurt), Jim Nordyke (Kyla), Matt Chatlain and Kim Collins (Kelby).
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lucas-Batton Funeral Home (476 S Sandusky Ave, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351). A memorial service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
