She was predeceased by: her spouse Russell W. "Russ" Hohnroth; her grandson Tony; her parents, Dean Carter and Mary Carter (Molloy); and her siblings, Patricia and Tony Carter.

She is survived by: her children, Russell "Rusty" Hohnroth (Julieanne), Ellen Peter (John), Linda Seig (late Ron), Deana Pieper (Joe) and Victoria Jenkins; her grandchildren, Amber, Mindy, Erin, Danielle, Michelle, Leland, Samuel, Kelly, Joe and Austin; her siblings, Thomas, James Carter and Marydean Gartell; and her aunt Nancy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
