With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bettie Collins (Harrison, Ohio), who passed away on September 9, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bettie leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Bettie may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her husband James L. Collins; and her siblings, Paul Gutzwiller (Beth), Pearl Martini (Gene), Brig Gen Ret'd and Clyde E. "Gus" Gutzwiller.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Trimbur (Marty), Jim Collins (Rita) and Casey Logeman (Jeff); and her grandchild Becca Trimbur. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Church (10010 Carolina Trace Rd, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
