With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn S. McClure of Harrison, Ohio, born in Cleves, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 10, 2026 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her father Danny; her siblings, Wayne Smith (Anna), Phyllis Davis (Roy), Myrna Dill (Robert), Walter "Butch" Smith (Helen), William "Billy" Smith (Carrie), Wallace "Wally" Smith and Winston "Lee" Smith; and her brother-in-law Ronnie Whitaker.
She is survived by: her husband Ray McClure; her children, Matt McClure (Amanda), Danielle Rolfes (Craig) and Cyndi Hoerst (Ryan); her grandchildren, Aaron, Savannah, Hunter, Brennan, Micayla and Rylee; her siblings, Charlotte "Choddy" Adams (Rodney), Marilyn "Sue" Whitaker, Warren "Kenny" Smith (Teresa) and Sherrie Britton (Pete); and her in-laws, Jeff Dobbelhoff, Linda Smith, Donna Kinnett (Ron) and Robert McClure (Candy). She is also survived by her sisters and brother-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a cause close to Carolyn's heart, Eastern Star Charities – checks can be made out to Association of Chapters District 20, with the memo line "District Charities Carolyn McClure", and mailed to Debbie Nungester, 2951 Aries Court, Cincinnati, Ohio 45251.
