He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter "Tuff" (Eleanor Huey) and Eldon; his former wife Thelma Huey (Spencer); his sister Barbara Collins (Huey); and his former wife Lavada Elliott.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Jackson Huey; his children, Patricia Schaden (Kurt), Michael Huey (Christa), Chris Huey (Nanette), Hugh Belt, Todd Belt, Terry Jackson (Marcy) and Gary Jackson (Shannon); his grandchildren, Brandon (Shelbi), Taylor Schaden, Collin, Evan Huey (Austie Champagne), Austin, Jillian, Adelyn Huey, Matthew, Luke, Emily Belt, Grasyn, Terrin, Alex Jackson, Cameron and Conner; and his pet Max. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brater Winter Funeral Home (201 S Vine St, Harrison, OH 45030). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (10010 Carolina Trace Rd, Harrison, OH 45030).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Building Fund or any SPCA in Eldon's memory, reflecting his compassionate spirit and love for all living beings.
