With profound sadness, we say goodbye to June Kersey of Harrison, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. June left this world on September 5, 2025 at the age of 81, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Borgman; her husband Howard Sr. Kersey; her daughter-in-law Terri Kersey; her father Harry A. Borgman; and her siblings, Carol Modafari, Linda Blevins, Rita Hodge, Audrey Humphrey, Marilyn Smith and Richard Borgman.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Bailey (Ken), Howard Jr. "Greg" Kersey, Robert Kersey (Julie) and Joe Kersey (Nickie); her grandchildren, Dylan (Samantha), Tyler (Jessica), Joey and ShyAnne; her great grandchild Lavender; and her brothers, William and Lawrence Borgman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brater Winter Funeral Home - Harrison (201 S Vine St, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the St. Joseph Old Cemetery (3819 W 8th St, Cincinnati, OH 45205).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Neurofibromatosis Network or the American Heart Association, honoring June Bug's legacy of compassion and kindness.
