With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ollie Roehm (Harrison, Ohio), born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on February 2, 2026 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandchildren, Mary Kate, Peyton, Ava and Carmen; his wife Mary Ewing; his children, Joe Roehm (Kelly), Christine Desmond (Jim) and Marilyn Kugler (Curt); his sister-in-law Kathy Lake (Bob); his parents, Melmer Alvin Louis "Lou" Roehm Jr. and Gladys Cyrilla Roehm; his brother Andy; and his sister-in-law Betsy Shirley. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Southeastern Indiana Musicians Association, Inc., a tribute fitting for a man who dedicated his life to the power of music and words.
