We announce the death of Rita Brashear (Harrison, Ohio), who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 72. Rita will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis Brashear; her son Timothy Brashear; and her siblings, Ralph Jackson and Viola Spears. She is survived by: her children, Daniel Brashear (Heather) and Beth Marcum (Brandon); her grandchildren, Joey, Elijah, Alyssa, Nathaniel, Brandon, Kayla, Caleb, Brayden and Leighann; and her siblings, Lois Wright, Denny Jackson, Paul Jackson, Sylvia Buis of Andrew, Jackson and Deborah Bryant. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home (10385 New Haven Rd, Harrison, OH 45030). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
