He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Skipton; his parents, Guy Maxwell and Frances Skipton; and his siblings, William Skipton and Wanda Banning.

He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Jo, Scott Edward (Melody) and Julie Ann Ellis (Tracy); his grandchildren, Brittany Ellis Mann (Jim), Kristoffer Skipton (Lyndsey), Tyler Ellis, Chelsey Skipton, Annie Ellis and Cassady Skipton; and his great grandchildren, Brodyn Hensler and Quinnyn Mae Skipton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial Donations may be made to Miami Whitewater UMC or Hospice of Cincinnati through the Brater-Winter Funeral Home.
