He was predeceased by : his parents, Norbert G. Zumwalde and Genevieve Zumwalde (Culman); and his brother Jerry "Zeke" Zumwalde. He is survived by : his wife Betty L. Rose-Zumwalde; his children, Ronny Lane Zumwalde, Randy Lee Zumwalde, Shelly Louise Zumwalde and Shawn LuAnne Zumwalde-DeGolyer (Scott); his grandchildren, Zach Zumwalde (Maggie), Evan Zumwalde (Clohe), Ryan Thompson (Cliff), Jesi Neaves (Chelsea), Rollan "David" Mead (Joy), Logan DeGolyer, Lexis "Stormie" DeGolyer, Adalynn "Addie" Thompson and Israelle "Izzy" Mead; his siblings, Larry Zumwalde (Cathie), Sharon Zumwalde, Tom Zumwalde (Terry), Dennis Zumwalde (Cheryl) and Andrea Ziser; his siblings-in-law, Ed Rose and Judy Zumwalde; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Zumwalde.
