Scott left this world on September 2, 2025 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his father Donald Harold Jones; and his niece Rachel Jones. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Jones (Fite); his wife Karen Jones; his children, Ben Jones (Sarah) and Beth Hoskins (Marie Matrka); his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Gwen, Brayden, Owen, Drew, Stella and Julia; his brother Jeff Jones (Carla); and his nephew Travis Jones (Breanne).

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Charles C. Young Funeral Home (4032 Hamilton Cleves Rd, Ross, OH 45061). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
