He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Bonnie Haney (Arnett); and his siblings, Donald Haney, Lily Mae Whitaker, Wilma Pitts and Shirley Bendele.
He is survived by: his children, David Haney, Jr. (Cindy) of Harrod and Nicole Haney of LaFayette; his grandchildren, Jacob Haney, Asalynn Haney and David Haney, III; and his sister Judy Jackson (Clyde).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services - Ada (311 E Lima Ave, Ada, OH 45810). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
