He was predeceased by: his parents, John O'Brien and Sophie O'Brien (Dobroski); and his siblings, Tom O'Brien, Susan Webber and Patricia Kovack.
He is survived by: his wife Anna Marie O'Brien (Vojtko); his children, Annie "Turtle" O'Brien and Dr. Michael J. O'Brien, Jr. (Morgan) of Hartford, OH; his grandchildren, Liam, Kian, Maclain and Taber O'Brien; and his siblings, John O'Brien (Sande), Jim O'Brien (Carole), Paul O'Brien, Robert O'Brien (Shirley), Kitty Hudson, Jennifer Bacik (Dale) and Dorothy Pepe (Tony). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
