He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Helmuth and Nettie Helmuth (Schlabach); his wife Mary Helmuth (Shrock); his children, Rosemary L Wolf (Steve) and Thomas E Helmuth; and his siblings, Barbara Byler (Walter), Alvin Helmuth, Emma Helmuth, Samuel Helmuth, Andrew Helmuth Jr., Wilma Troyer (Wallace) and Orva Helmuth.
He is survived by: his children, Norma J Stoltzfus (Reuben) and Steve Helmuth (Joy Roth); and his son-in-law Steve Wolf. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
