He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold L Sr. Wheaton and Jane Wheaton (Yegge); his significant other Patricia Wheaton (Lane); and his siblings, Georgia Barbrow and Charles Towey.
He is survived by: his son John; his daughter-in-law Cathy Wheaton (Daigle); his grandchildren, Hannah Miller (Adam), Joshua Wheaton and Nathan Wheaton; and his great grandchildren, Fiona and Charlie Miller. He is also survived by sister-in-law's, brother-in-law's, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St Judes Children's Hospital, Compassion International, Haven of Rest, Samaritans Purse, or Salvation Army.
