It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl E. Koontz (Heath, Ohio), born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on May 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Mae Koontz and Owens; his daughter Christine Marie Richards; and his brother Philip Koontz. He is survived by: his wife Doris; his daughter Margaret Sutton (Andrew); his grandchildren, Gregory Richards (Angela), Natalie Hood (John), Valerie Carrocci (Adam), Lindsay Sutton (Mason Hickey) and Christopher Sutton (Holly); and his sister-in-law Ruth Koontz. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, nieces, nephew.
