He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Robert and Marie Schirtzinger (Fischer); his son Daniel Schirtzinger; his brother Bob Schirtzinger; his parents-in-law, Asa and Marilee Ashcraft Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Jacobs, Jim Ashcraft and Gary Ashcraft.
He is survived by: his wife Karen J. Schirtzinger (Ashcraft); his sons, David Schirtzinger, Dale Schirtzinger (Dottie) and Donald Schirtzinger (Jenni); his grandchildren, Shannon Lenhardt, Christian Schirtzinger, Jacob Schirtzinger (Rian Harper), Jerry Schirtzinger and Faythe Schirtzinger; his great grandchildren, Dean and Nico Schirtzinger; his siblings, Jack Schirtzinger, Kathleen Glick and Jim Schirtzinger; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Graves (Butch), Paula Ashcraft, Yolanda Ashcraft and Ronnie Ashcraft (Eliane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
