He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvan Bentley and Sylvia Bentley (Eaton); his wife Doris Burchett; his brothers, Teddy Bentley and Robert "Bob" Bentley (Gloria); and his sister-in-law Tomma Bentley.
He is survived by: his sons, Don Jr. Bentley (Mary), Darrell Bentley (Kim) and Jay Bentley (Anne); his caregiver Angela McVicker (Brett); his grandchildren, Jessica Fromius (Nick), Matthew Bentley (Kate), Courtney Stickles (Ian), Ryan Bentley, Kirsten Santos (EJ), Emilie Dixon (Drew) and Danielle Bentley; his great grandchildren, William Bentley, Beatrice Bentley, Luke Bentley, Olivia Bentley, Elijah Santos and Cora Dixon; and his brother Kenneth "Ken" Bentley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Heath Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service (1249 Hebron Rd, Heath, OH 43056). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
